(5) Connect calibrator to pins 3 (SIGNAL LOW) and 4 (SIGNAL HIGH) of
connector J5 on rear of TI AC VOLTMETER. Set calibrator output for 1.05 V at 6000 Hz.
(6) On TI AC VOLTMETER, press the MENU button until Loc 1 is displayed.
(7) Use the PEAK ►and RESET ▲buttons until display reads 00000.
(8) Press the MENU button until either Lo rd, if the low voltage readings are out of
tolerance or Hi rd if the high voltage readings are out of tolerance is displayed.
(9) Use the PEAK ► to select a digit, and RESET ▲ to select a value of 0 through 9.
(10) Make small incremental changes to the parameters selected in b (8) above until
all values are within tolerance. Press the MENU button until RESET is displayed and
wait until display changes to determine values are within tolerance.
(11) Repeat b (8) through (10) above until values are within tolerance.
(12) Press the MENU button until Loc 1 is displayed.
(13) Use the PEAK ►and RESET ▲buttons until display reads 11111.
(14) Remove input power from TI.
(15) Remove all connectors from rear of TI AC VOLTMETER and remove cover from
rear of meter.
(16) Re-install the front panel lockout jumper a from the power supply board.
(17) Re-install rear cover and connectors to TI AC VOLTMETER.
a. Performance Check (DC VOLTMETER and DC VOLTMETER (VX ONLY))
(1) Remove the wires from pins 1 (IN HI) and 2 (IN LO) on connector J112 on
meter being tested.
(2) Connect calibrator to pin 1 (IN HI) and pin 2 (IN LO).
(3) Set calibrator for an output of 20 V DC for DC VOLTMETER or 2 V DC for DC
VOLTMETER (VX ONLY). If TI does not indicate within limits specified in appropriate
(4) Repeat technique of (3) above for settings and indications listed in table 4 below.
If TI does not indicate within limits specified in table 4, perform b below.
