(17) Repeat (15) and (16) above for remaining values listed in table 3.
(18) Set TI ON/OFF switch to OFF and disconnect test equipment. Remove shorts
installed in step (6) above and reinstall TI in case.
b. Adjustments
(1) Remove shorts from TI TP1 to TP3, and TI TP4 to COM.
(3) Set TI ON/OFF switch to ON.
(4) Adjust TI P5 (0CAL) to achieve multimeter reading of 0.2940 V dc.
(5) Set TI ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(6) Short TP4 to COM and TP3 to TP1.
(7) Connect TI test leads to multimeter input while observing polarity.
(8) Rotate TI TEMP ADJ CW to achieve multimeter reading of 41.2756 mV dc.
(9) Adjust TI P4 (1000CAL) to obtain TI display of 1000 C.
9. Temperature (Models TT1200 and TT1200A)
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect K-Type Thermocouple Wire to the TI connector, observing polarity.
(2) Set cool/heat source to ambient temperature (22 C/71.6 F) and allow time
to stabilize.
(3) Immerse the K-Type Thermocouple Wire and into the cold well of the cool/heat source.
(4) The TI and cool/heat source indications must agree within 1 C (1.8 F) of each other.
(5) Disconnect test setup.
(6) Set TI controls as indicated in (a) through (f) below (Model TT-1200A
instructions shown in parentheses):
(a) FUNCTION

(7) Set multimeter to DCV and 100 mV range. Perform multimeter Math Null
as necessary.
(8) Connect TI test leads to Digital Voltmeter input while observing polarity.
(9) Set TI ON/OFF switch to ON.
(10) Adjust TI TEMP ADJ and FINE controls until TI display indicates the first
value listed in the Applied column of table 4.
