(14) Set the TI controls as listed in (a) through (g) below:
(b) LEVEL to +13 dBm.
(c) MOD to FM.
(d) MOD RATE to 1 kHz (Sine).
(e) FM DEVIATION to 100 kHz.
(f) OUTPUT to OPER.
(g) MODULATION to OFF.
(15) Allow the measuring receiver to tune to the input signal. When the tuning is
complete, set the TI to MODULATION ON.
(16) Set the measuring receiver for an FM Deviation measurement. Verify that the
measuring receiver FM Deviation indications are within the limits of table 9.
(17) Repeat technique of 14 (a) (d) (e) (g) (15) and (16) above for the remaining
modulation rate listed in table 9. TI will indicate within the limits of table 9.
