(7) The TI VOLTS display must indicate within the corresponding Readback
(Meter) accuracy limits calculated in step (6) for each programmed voltage in steps (1) and
(3) above.
(8) Reconnect the lead from removed from the decade resistor back to the decade
resistor. Using TI front panel controls, program voltage for 5 V and current outputs for 0.
If necessary adjust the decade resistor.
(9) Divide the multimeter 2 indication by the DC Current Shunt Certified
Resistance and record results.
(10) Using TI front panel controls, program current output for 25, 50, 75% and full
scale. Repeat step (9) above at each programmed current.
(11) Refer to table 1 range/accuracy (Programming Accuracy) specification and
calculate the limits for each programmed current in steps (8) and (10) above.
(12) The recorded value in step (9) must be within values calculated in step (11)
above.
(13) Refer to table 1 range/accuracy Readback (Meter) accuracy specification and
calculate the limits for each programmed current in steps (8) and (10) above.
(14) The TI AMPS display must indicate within the corresponding Readback (Meter)
accuracy limits calculated in step (13) for each programmed voltage in steps (8) and (10)
above.
(15) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage and current outputs for 0.
b. Adjustments. No adjustment can be made for 1791; for all others see appendix A.
9. Load and Line Regulation (Constant Voltage)
a. Performance Check
(2) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage and current outputs for full scale
(3) Reduce the decade resistor resistance until TI front panel display indicates full
scale and ensure front panel CV enunciator is illuminated.
(4) Record multimeter indication.
(5) Remove one lead from the decade resistor.
(6) The difference between the multimeter indication and the value recorded in
step (4) above must be within table 1 Load Regulation CV limits.
(7) Reconnect the lead to the decade resistor. Set the decade resistor resistance for
maximum current at maximum voltage from ratings in table 1.
(8) Adjust the autotransformer until the meter indicates 105 V ac, unless minimum
line voltage is otherwise specified in table 1.
(9) Record multimeter indication.
(10) Adjust the autotransformer until the meter indicates 125 V ac, unless maximum
line voltage is otherwise specified in table 1.
(11) The difference between the multimeter indication and the value recorded in
step (9) above must be within table 1 Line Regulation CV limits.
