(a) Turn on the calibration mode by pressing the Calibrate key while simultaneously
turning on the power supply, then continue to hold the Calibrate key for about
5 seconds until a beep is heard.
(b) Make certain that the power supply is in CV mode. If the power supply is not in CV
mode, an error occurs.
(4) Move down a level to the voltage calibration mode.
The display shows the above message to indicate that the power supply is ready for voltage
calibration.
(5) Calibrate DAC and select the low voltage calibration point.
(a) The START BITCAL message is displayed for about 3 seconds to indicate that the
power supply is ready for DAC calibration. It counts down numbers from 30 to 0,
then shows the low voltage calibration point.
(6) Read the multimeter and change the low voltage value on the display to match the
measured voltage. For example, if the multimeter reading is 0.4500 V, adjust the
voltage to 0.4500 V using the control knob and resolution selection keys.
(7) Press the
(Calibrate) key to save the change and select the middle voltage
calibration point.
(a) If the entered number is within an acceptable range, an `ENTERE'' message is
displayed for 1 second.
(b) If the entered number is not correct, a MIN VALUE or MAX VALUE message is
displayed for 1 second and the display shows the low voltage calibration point again.
The display now shows the middle voltage calibration point.
(8) Read the multimeter and change the middle voltage value on the display to match the
measured voltage. For example, if the multimeter reads 10.001 V, adjust the voltage to
10.001 V using the control knob and arrow keys.
(Calibrate) key to save the changes and select the high voltage
(9) Press the
calibration point.
(a) If the entered number is within an acceptable range, an ENTERED message is
displayed for 1 second.
(b) If the entered number is not correct, a MIN VALUE or MAX VALUE message is
displayed for 1 second and the display shows the middle voltage calibration point
again. The display now shows the high voltage calibration point.
