7. Equipment Setup
WARNING
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
this calibration.
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S)  to  minimum  after  each  step  within  the
performance checks where applicable.
a. Connect calibrator to TI
and COM input.
b. Set function switch to DC V 200m.
8. DC Voltage
a. Performance Check
(1) Set calibrator for an output of 200 mV.
(2) If TI does not indicate within limits specified in first row of table 3, perform b
below.
(3) Repeat technique of (1) and (2) above, using the remaining settings and
indications listed in table 3. If TI does not indicate within limits specified in table 3,
perform b below.

(4) Repeat technique of (1) and (2) above, using the remaining settings and
indications listed in table 3. If TI does not indicate within limits specified in table 3,
perform b below.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.

Dc Current
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI 15A and COM to calibrator.
(2) Set TI function switch to DC 15A.
(3) Set calibrator for an output of 5 A.
(4) TI will indicate within 4.905 A and 5.095 A.
(5) Set calibrator for an output of 10 A.
(6) TI will indicate within 9.83 A and 10.17 A.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
