(1) Press TI upper select/adjust key to go to test 18. TI will display Verif 18.
(3) If TI displayed distance between 10th marker and 10th graticule line is not the
same as the distance between 2nd marker and 2nd graticule line 1 pixel (0.04 div), perform

(4) Set oscilloscope calibrator output to STBY and disconnect equipment setup.

(1) Press TI upper select/adjust key to go to test 19. TI will display Verif 19.
(2) Connect a BNC dual input coupler to function generator output. Connect one
end of dual input coupler outputs to TI CHANNEL A input and connect the other output
through a BNC to banana adapter to the mV (red) and COM (black) inputs observing
polarity.
(3) Set function generator for an output of 1 kHz sine wave, 1.8 V p-p and +1.4 V dc
offset.
(4) TI displayed sine wave should be varying from +0.5 to +2.3 V and will be located
at top of the screen. If displayed signal is not triggered consistently, perform b below.
(5) Set function generator output to off.
b. Adjustments. Annotate out of tolerance condition. Complete checks through
13. Horizontal Deflection
a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI upper select/adjust key to go to test 20. TI will display Verif 20.
(2) Disconnect dual input coupler output and BNC to banana adapter from TI mV
(red) and COM (black inputs and remove BNC to banana adapter. Reconnect dual input
coupler directly to TI CHANNEL B input.
(3) Set function generator frequency to 2 kHz.
