Set calibrator OPR/STBY to STBY. Move connection to amplifier. Select BOOST on calibrator and set OPR/STBY to OPR.

Allow sufficient time for indications on the TI 20 A ac range to stabilize before taking final reading

NOTE
Steps (21) and (22) below are used to calculate and adjust the
calibrator for approximately nominal current. True applied
current is obtained in step (23) below. Significant editing to
calibrator output may be necessary, particularly for high
frequencies and low current. When using amplifier at 1 A,
output cannot be edited to less than 1 A.
(21) Calculate the nominal output voltage of the current shunt by multiplying the
calibrator displayed output current by the test reported DC resistance value of the current
shunt.
(22) Using calibrator edit controls, adjust output until the AC measurement standard
indication is equal to the value obtained in (21) above.
