2. DC Voltage Characterization
a. Calculate the 100 mV dc (nominal) output of the 100:1 divider in figure 2 using the
formula below. Record this value in table A-2, row 1, True Applied column. Record
negative value of the same number in row 2.
b. Calculate the 1 V dc (nominal) output of the 10:1 divider in figure 2 using the
formula below. Record this value in table A-2, row 3, True Applied column. Record
negative value of the same number in row 4.

Vref = Test report value from table A-1 of the transfer standard 10 V tap.
R1 = Test report value from table A-1 of resistance standard # 8 (100 kΩ).
R2 = Test report value from table A-1 of either resistance standard # 6 (1 kΩ for
100 mV) or resistance standard # 7 (10 kΩ for 1 V).
