REDUCE
OUTPUT(S) to minimum after each step within the
performance check where applicable.
NOTE
Throughout this procedure soft keys are identified by the use of
brackets [ ] around the key.
a. Press TI POWER button to turn TI on and allow 30 minute warm-up time.
b. Set TI as listed in (1) through (3) below:
(1) Press Utility key.
(2) Press [Service] key.
(3) Press [Self Test] key.
c. TI will perform self test. During self test, TI will display "Running self tests."
d. Upon completion of self tests, verify TI displays "Self Tests Passed."
8. Threshold Accuracy (Model 54622D Only)
a. Performance Check
NOTE
If needed, construct a test connector IAW instructions in
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 1 below.
(2) Connect test connector to TI channels 0 7 (fig. 1).
(3) Press TI D7 Thru D0 key.
(4) Press TI [Threshold] key.
(5) Press TI [User] key, then turn TI knob to set threshold to 5.00 V.
(6) Set, and adjust if necessary, oscilloscope calibrator for an output, as shown on

Digital channel activity indicators are displayed on status line
at top of TI. Activity indicators for D7 D0 should show all
channels at digital high levels.
