a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI Save/Recall key, then [Default Setup] key.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a LEVEL SINE, 25 MHz, 100 mV output.
(3) Press TI Autoscale key.
(4) Set TI Horizontal 50 s 5 ns knob to 50 ns.
(5) Set TI ch 1 Vertical 5 V 1 mV knob to 100 mV.
(6) Decrease oscilloscope calibrator output amplitude until 0.35 vertical divisions of
signal is displayed.
(7) Adjust TI Trigger Level for a stable display. If TI does not display a stable
display, perform b below.
(8) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a LEVEL SINE, 100 MHz, 100 mV output.
(9) Set TI Horizontal 50 s 5 ns knob to 10 ns.
(10) Decrease oscilloscope calibrator output amplitude until 0.35 vertical divisions of
signal is displayed.
(11) Adjust TI Trigger Level for a stable display. If TI does not display a stable
display, perform b below.
(12) Move connection from TI ch 1 to TI ch 2.
(13) Press TI ch 2 key to on and TI ch 1 key to off.
(14) Repeat technique of (2) through (11) above utilizing TI ch 2 controls and
settings.
NOTE
For model 54624A proceed to (15) below. For models 54622A
and 54622D proceed to (21) below.
(15) Move connection from TI ch 2 to TI ch 3.
(16) Press TI ch 3 key to on and TI ch 2 key to off.
(17) Repeat technique of (2) through (11) above utilizing TI ch 3 controls and
settings.
(18) Move connection from TI ch 3 to TI ch 4.
(19) Press TI ch 4 key to on and TI ch 3 key to off.
(20) Repeat technique of (2) through (11) above utilizing TI ch 4 controls and
settings.
(21) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 through power
splitter to TI ch 1 input and TI Ext Trigger input. Use 50 Ω feedthroughs on TI inputs.
(22) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a LEVEL SINE, 100 MHz, 300 mV p-p output.
(23) Press TI Autoscale key.
