(10) Set TI output to minimum and disconnect equipment setup.
b. Adjustments
(1) Press TI HELP SETUP, [Setup], [Calibrate] keys.
NOTE
If the message Locked appears adjacent to the [Calibrate]
key, it must be unlocked before access can be obtained. Press
[Calibrate]. The message ENTRY CODE will appear. Key in
the digits 2, 9, 4, 5, then press the [dBm/ENTER] key. If the
procedure has been carried out correctly the Locked message
will be removed and the [Calibrate] key will now be active.
Press [Calibrate].
(2) Press TI [FM level].
(3) Configure measuring receiver for FM deviation measurement with Peak+
detector, no high pass filter and 80 kHz low pass filter.
(4) Press TI [Mod Low / High] key until Mod freq is Low is displayed at bottom of
displayed table.
(5) Use TI [ ], [ ] keys to highlight 10 MHz calibration point (288 MHz for low
(6) Ensure measuring receiver tunes to this frequency and record measuring
receiver FM deviation indication.
(7) Press TI [Mod Low / High] key until Mod freq is High is displayed at bottom of
displayed table.
(8) Use TI rotary knob to alter data value until measuring receiver indicates FM
deviation value recorded in (6) above.
(9) Press TI [Mod Low / High] key until Mod freq is Low is displayed at bottom of
displayed table.
(10) Use TI [ ], [ ] keys to highlight next calibration point in displayed table.
(11) Repeat technique of (6) through (10) for all remaining calibration points in TI
displayed table.
