(2) Set TI as listed in (a) through (e) below:
(a) Press Tx TEST.
(b) Press RF IN/OUT SELECT to select N-type.
(c) Press Tx TEST, [Tx Freq], [Auto Tune].
(d) Press Help/Setup, [Setup], > (right arrow key) to highlight dBm.
(e) Press [Return], [Return].
(3) Configure measuring receiver for RF power measurement displayed in dBm.
CAUTION
Do not apply power to power amplifier until minimizing signal
generator output amplitude. The power splitter may be
permanently damaged if maximum power level of power
splitter is exceeded. Also, ensure power arriving at measuring
receiver sensor is below +25 dBm.
(4) Set RF power amplifer gain to 50%. Set signal generator frequency to 11 MHz
and output to -45 dBm. Slowly increase signal generator output and, if necessary, power
amplifier gain for a measuring receiver indication of 20 dBm. If TI indication is not within
limits specified in first row of table 26, perform b below.
(6) Repeat technique of (4) and (5) for remaining signal generator outputs,
measuring receiver indications and TI indications in table 26. If TI indications are not
within limits specified in table 26, perform b below.
