Insert a 20 dB attenuator between TI and storage oscilloscope and calculate the
1
adjustment value using the following formula and record in table 24:
Adjustment value = TI level(Vp-p) *
TRV = Test reported value for the attenuator placed between TI
. = 0.1023293
Example: Adjustment value = 1.0000 *
(7) Set TI as listed in (a) through (b) below:
(a) Softkey, Speed.
(b) OUTPUT ON.
(8) Remove the attenuator from between the TI and storage oscilloscope.
(9) Measure the appropriate edge time listed in table 25 and record as TI measured
value.
(10) Calculate the adjustment value using the following formula and enter in
Measured Time
7.5 ps
Edge Time =
(11) Using the TI arrow keys adjust the TI Edge Speed to matches the first
calculated adjustment value listed in table 25 below and press TI Softkey, ACCEPT
CALIB.
(12) Press the Softkey, NEXT TARGET and repeat technique of (8) through (10)
above for remaining rows in table 25 adjusting the appropriate edge.
(13) Set TI as listed in (a) through (i) below:
(a)
OUTPUT OFF.
(b)
Softkey, EXIT.
(c)
Softkey, STORE HEAD CAL.
(d)
Correct all necessary Cal Date data.
(e)
Softkey, STORE.
(f)
Wait for Saving cal factors to head to finish then press Softkey, EXIT.
(g)
Softkey, EXIT.
(h)
