8. Antenna Verification
a. Performance Check
(1) Using multimeter, carefully measure the resistance between the center and
outer conductor of the difference port "Δ" (A5J1) on the antenna.
(2) Multimeter will indicate 25 ±3 Ω. If not, replace antenna.
(3) Using multimeter, carefully measure the resistance between the center and
outer conductor of the sum port "" (A5J2) on the antenna.
(4) Multimeter will indicate 25 ±3 Ω. If not, replace antenna.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
9. Antenna Gain
a. Performance Check
NOTE
Antenna gain at 1030 MHz and 1090 MHz are not currently
used by the TI. These fields are for potential future use. These
fields are set to 0.0.
(1) On the instrument controller, verify that 0.0 is entered in the ANTENNA GAIN
1030 MHz field. Enter 0.0 if necessary.
(2) On the instrument controller, verify that 0.0 is entered in the ANTENNA GAIN
1090 MHz field. Enter 0.0 if necessary.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
