(4) Set calibrator for the first value listed in the Applied column. If TI applied input
level is not specified, adjust the calibrator output for a stable TI display. If TI indication is
not within limits specified, perform b below.
(5) Set calibrator to STBY.
(6) Repeat technique of (3) through (5) above for remaining ranges and applied
values listed in Range and Applied columns. If TI indication is not within limits specified,
perform b below.
(7) If applicable, disconnect equipment setup.

CAUTION
Do not turn off cool/heat source at temperatures higher than
100 C. This may create a hazardous situation. Select a set-
point lower than 100 C and allow the instrument to cool before
turning off.
NOTE
Perform this check if temperature probe is supplied with TI. If
not TI will receive a calibration label (DA 163) stating that
Temperature not calibrated.
