(9) When the test is finished the data will be displayed on a spreadsheet. Copy the
data and save it to a file to keep it as a record for the TI.
(10) After obtaining the VSWR for the TI, compare the measured VSWRs with the
TI's VSWR in the manufacturer specifications listed in table 1. If the TI fails, then reject
the TI and tag it as defective.
(11) On the PIMAT screen, select Return to Front Page.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
9. Insertion Loss Using PIMAT Software
a. Performance Check
(1) On the Spectrum Analyzer, go to Step 2 and select the With Gateway option.
(2) On the next screen, Type of TI, select Fixed Value Passive Device and then
select Mid-Range 10 MHz to 18 GHz.
(2) On the next screen, Measurement for a Fix Value Passive Device, Step 1, click
the Set up diagram. Connect equipment as shown in the diagram except do not connect the
Power Module or the cable from the Signal Generator to the power splitter.
(4) Skip Step 2 (calibrate the Power Meter) since the Power Meters were already
