c. Unless otherwise specified, verify the results of each test and, whenever the test
requirement is not met, take corrective action before continuing with the calibration.
Adjustments required to calibrate the TI are included in this procedure. Additional
maintenance information is contained in the manufacturer's manual for this TI.
d. Unless otherwise specified, all controls and control settings refer to the TI.
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S) to minimum after each step within the
performance check where applicable.
NOTE
Throughout this procedure, TI front panel section, hard-key
and control knob labels appear in bold font, and soft-key labels
appear in bolded brackets [ ]. Some TI hard-keys and soft-keys
that initiate submenus or functions may be deselected by
pressing hard-key or soft-key consecutively. Press hard-key or
soft-key again to enable function.
NOTE
When instructed to change TI input channels, it will be
necessary to set TRIGGER SOURCE to the correct channel.
To accomplish this, press TRIGGER SOURCE key then press
the corresponding channel soft-key.
NOTE
The Active Head (p/o Oscilloscope Calibrator) is an integral
part of the Oscilloscope Calibrator. All connections are to be
made through the Active Head.
a. Set TI POWER switch to ON and allow a 30 minute warm-up period.
b. Connect the TI DC CALIBRATOR output (rear panel) to the multimeter input.

(1) Configure multimeter for DC voltage measurement.
(2) Connect TI DC CALIBRATOR (rear panel) to multimeter input.
