28. High Speed Linearity
a. Performance Check
(1) Position switches as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) CH 1 VOLTS/DIV to 50 mV.
(b) A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME to .05 s.
(c) HORIZ DISPLAY to A.
(2) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, MARKER mode output of 5 ns.
(3) Position MAG switch to X10.
(4) Position second marker at second graticule line so that sweep starts at first
graticule.
(5) If display does not have optimum linearity (even spacing) over center 8 divisions
of crt, perform b (1) below.
