(169) Press DIGITAL STORAGE VIEW A and MAX HOLD pushbuttons to off.
(170) Press 10 dB/DIV VERTICAL DISPLAY pushbutton to on and note baseline.
(171) Press NARROW VIDEO FILTER pushbutton

adjust
REFERENCE LEVEL control until baseline moves to top of crt.
(172) Press 2 dB/DIV VERTICAL DISPLAY pushbutton to on.
(173) Press DIGITAL STORAGE VIEW A pushbutton to on.
(174) Adjust REFERENCE LEVEL control until SAVE A display and baseline are
centered on crt.
(175) Unplug P2060 (fig. 12) and move one pin to left.
(176) Reinstall P3035 (fig. 12) (puts operations in invert mode).
(177) Adjust R1061 through R1013 (fig. 12) sequentially until contour of baseline is
an average of the SAVE A display.
NOTE
In performing the adjustments in (177) above, it may be
necessary to adjust R1069 (fig. 12) to shift baseline to right or
left to aline baseline with the average contour of SAVE A
display.
(178) Remove P2060 (fig. 12) and move it one pin to the right (normal mode position).
(179) Press DIGITAL STORAGE pushbuttons to off.
(180) Press DIGITAL STORAGE VIEW A, VIEW B, SAVE A, and MAX HOLD
pushbuttons to on. If display on crt does not indicate a flat response (fig. 13B), repeat
technique of (159) through (180) above.
(181) Remove and reinstall P3035 (fig. 12). If baseline on crt remains straight or
breaks up after P3035 is replaced, perform technique of (182) through (192) below.
Disconnect synthesized signal generator from RF INPUT. Push POWER switch off, and
(182) Position controls as listed in (162) above.
(183) Press NARROW VIDEO FILTER pushbutton to on.
(184) Set TIME/DIV switch to 50 ms.
(185) Alternately turn R1061 (low) through R1013 (high) (fig. 12) until every other
adjustment is fully cw and the remaining adjustments are fully ccw.
(186) Adjust REFERENCE LEVEL control until baseline is near full screen.
(187) Press 2 dB/DIV VERTICAL DISPLAY pushbutton to on, and adjust
REFERENCE LEVEL control until display is midscreen. If display on crt indicates a
periodic triangular waveform (fig. 14, A), perform (190) below. If not, perform (188) below.
(189) Adjust R1065 cw one and one half to two turns past the point on crt where
display becomes a periodic triangular waveform (fig. 14, A).
