(9) Set MODE switch to CH1 and press TRIGGER CH1 pushbutton.
(10) Set SEC/DIV switch to 2 and repeat technique of (2) through (7) above for
CH1, except do not readjust standardizer.
b. Adjustments
(2) Connect oscilloscope to P260 (fig. 2) and chassis ground, using probe (B6), and
adjust oscilloscope for several cycles of a 4 division display.
(3) Adjust C250A (fig. 2) for best flat top on front corner of rising edge of waveform
displayed on oscilloscope (R).
(4) Disconnect probe from P260 and pull X10 switch out.
(5) Adjust horizontal POSITION control to display a positive going transition on TI.
(6) Adjust C270A (fig. 2) for best flat top on front corner of rising edge of displayed
waveform (R).
(7) Set oscilloscope calibrator EDGE mode output to 10 kHz and set SEC/DIV
switch to 5 .
(8) Adjust horizontal POSITION control to display positive transition waveform
and adjust C207, R207, and C130 (fig. 1) for best flat top on front corner of rising edge of
waveform (R).
(9) Move connection from CH2 to CH1 and adjust C110 (fig. 1) for best flat top on
front corner of rising edge of the waveform (R).
a. Performance Check
(1) Set VOLTS/DIV switches to 5 m.
(2) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH1 X INPUT,
using 50 feed through termination.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a 50 kHz LEVEL SINE output and adjust
amplitude for a 4 division display on TI.
(4) Set oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output to 5 MHz. TI amplitude will
indicate 2.8 divisions or greater.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a 1 mS MARKER mode output.
(2) Set SEC/DIV switch to 1 m and VOLTS/DIV switch to .5.
(3) Adjust horizontal POSITION control and oscilloscope calibrator rotary knob
below EDIT FIELD button for 1 marker per division over center 8 divisions. If oscilloscope
calibrator err readout indication is not within 3%, perform b (1) below.
