11. Risetime and Bandwidth
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH 1 input
through, a 50 Ω feedthrough termination, and 5 - 80 pF standardizer.
(2) Set TIME/DIV switch to .2 ms, CH 1 and CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to 5m, and
press HORIZ DISPLAY A pushbutton to on (in).
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator EDGE output for 5 divisions of vertical display at 1 kHz.
Adjust standardizer for optimum square wave. If waveform does not have a flat top and
square corner within 1 minor division, perform appropriate adjustment for model number
(4) Repeat technique of (2) and (3) above for TI VOLTS/DIV switch settings listed
in table 9 except do not readjust standardizer. If waveform at each setting does not have a
flat top or square corner within 1 minor division, perform appropriate adjustment for model
(5) Remove connection from CH 1 input and connect to CH 2 input.
(6) Press VERT MODE CH 2 pushbutton to on (in) and repeat technique of (1)
through (4) above for CH 2. If waveform does not have a flat top and a square corner
within 1 minor division, perform appropriate adjustment for model identified in table 9.
