(10) Slowly rotate INCR-DECR control cw (from 2.000 to 18.000 GHz) and observe
non-harmonic related (spurious) signals. Spurious signals will be <-45 dBc (45 dB below
carrier level indication on spectrum analyzer).
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI RESET key.
(2) Connect measuring receiver power sensor to TI RF OUTPUT 50 .
(3) Configure measuring receiver to measure AM modulation with <20 Hz high-pass
filter, 300 kHz low-pass filter and RMS detector selected.
(4) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +13.0 dBm by pressing 13 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(5) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F1 key and set F1 M3 display to 0.010 GHz
by pressing 10 with DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing MHz/dB/mS DATA
ENTRY key.
(6) Measuring receiver AM modulation display will indicate less than 0.32 percent.
(7) Repeat technique of (4) through (6) above for 0.100, 1.0, and 1.7 GHz.
(8) Press LEVEL key and set LEVEL display to +10.0 dBm by pressing 10 with
DATA ENTRY keys and then by pressing GHz/dBm/SEC DATA ENTRY key.
(9) Press FREQUENCY RANGE CW F1 key and set F1 M3 display to F1 M3
display frequency indication listed in table 4.
(10) Measuring receiver AM modulation display will indicate less than 0.32 percent.
(11) Repeat technique of (8) through (10) above for remaining F1 M3 display
frequency indications listed in table 4.
