(12) Set CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch to 100 mV and set A SWP SEC/DIV switch to
10 ms (knobs locked; pushed in).
(13) Perform steps (a) through (c) below:
(a) Set oscilloscope calibrator MODE wavegen output for WAVE sine.
(c) Set oscilloscope calibrator output for an amplitude of 0.35 division of display on TI.
(14) Adjust TRIGGER LEVEL control for a stable (triggered) display. If a stable
display cannot be obtained perform b below.
NOTE
Set A SWP SEC/DIV switch and press X10 MAG pushbutton
as necessary to obtain a well-defined display of test signal.
(15) Set oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output for 50 MHz and 0.35 divisions
of display.
(16) Adjust TRIGGER LEVEL control for a stable (triggered) display. If a stable
display cannot be obtained, perform b below.
(17) Press TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton to DC and repeat (15) and (16) above.
(18) Position oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output for 300 MHz and 1.0
division of display.
(19) Adjust TRIGGER LEVEL control for a stable (triggered) display. If a stable
display cannot be obtained, perform b below.
(20) Press TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton to AC and repeat (18) and (19) above.
(21) Position oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output for 500 MHz and 1.5
divisions of display.
(22) Adjust TRIGGER LEVEL control for a stable (triggered) display. If a stable
display cannot be obtained perform b below.
(23) Press TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton to DC and repeat (21) and (22) above.
(24) Press pushbuttons as indicated in (a) through (c) below:
(a) VERTICAL MODE CH 1 off and CH 2 on.
(b) TRIGGER SOURCE to CH 2.
(c) TRIGGER COUPLING to AC.
(25) Set CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to 100 mV and A SWP SEC/DIV switch to
10 ms (knobs locked).
