a. Performance Check
(1) Position mounting plate on a stable and rigid work surface and secure with bolts or
clamps.
(2) Assemble TI torque cell, extension, standard torque cell, and torque wrench on
mounting plate. Ensure that locating pins of both torque cells and extension are engaged in
their respective mounting holes. Install torque wrench crank handle in socket.
(3) Connect TI torque cell and standard torque cell to their respective indicators.
NOTE
The torque applied by torque wrench (ccw, for example)
produces opposite torque (cw) in both torque cells.
