Section I. IDENTIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION
1. Test Instrument Identification. a. This bulletin provides information for the periodic calibration of Deviation Calibrator
model MU 140-70. The Deviation Calibrator being calibrated is herein referred to as the TI (test instrument).
b. Model Variations. When production and engineering changes are incorporated into the MU 140-70 Deviation
Calibrator, a version number is suffixed to the model number. Thus the MU 140-70 becomes the MU 140-70-1. This
suffix is stamped on the TI at the time of production. If a number does not appear after the model number, the version is
understood to be "-O." These changes do not affect the calibration
