(8) TI will indicate between 44.986 Hz and 45.014 Hz. If TI does not indicate within
limits specified, perform b below.
(9) Set function generator for 950 kHz and increase output to 600 mV rms.
(10)TI will indicate between 949.90 kHz and 950.10 kHz. If TI does not indicate
within limits specified, perform b below.
(11)Disable function generator output and disconnect equipment.
b. Adjustments. Complete all performance checks in paragraphs 8 through 14,
recording failures, then perform entire alignment procedure in paragraph 17.
15. High Voltage Probe (AN/GSM-437 Only)
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect the high voltage probe cable to TI VΩ and COM inputs, observing
correct polarity. Connect the probe's ground lead to calibrator OUTPUT LO. Hold the
probe by the black handle and connect the probe tip to calibrator OUTPUT HI.
(2) Set calibrator to 1000 V, OPR.
(3) TI will indicate between 0.9900 and 1.0100 V dc.
(4) Set calibrator to minimum and disconnect equipment.
b. Adjustments. No adjustment can be made.
16. Temperature Probe (AN/GSM-437 Only)
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect temperature probe to TI VΩ and COM inputs using adapter.
(2) Ensure that temperature probe is next to the sensor in the sensor H-T system.
(3) Set TI to perform temperature measurement by pressing buttons as listed in (a)
through (e) below.

Select <Temp>, [C].
(c)
[Offset].
(d)
Adjust Temperature Offset to read 000.0 using cursor buttons.
(e)
[Close].
(4) Allow time for indication to stabilize. TI will indicate within 3.1 C of
sensor H-T system.
b. Adjustments. No adjustment can be made.
NOTE
If an adjustment step is skipped, the remaining adjustments
may be invalidated.
If the TI is turned Off before completion of adjustment
