d. Position TI storage controls as listed in (1) through (5) below:
(1) NON STORE pushbutton to on (in).
(2) STORAGE LEVEL variable control to NORM.
(3) SAVE pushbutton to off (out).
(4) VIEWTIME variable control to NORM.
(5) INTEN SAVE variable control to midrange.
e. Position A and B HORIZ DISPLAY controls as listed in (1) through (5) below:
(1) A AND B TIME/DIV and DELAY TIME switches to 1 ms and VAR control
fully cw (detent).
(2) HORIZ DISPLAY A pushbutton on (in).
(3) DELAY TIME position dial to 0.00.
(4) X10 MAG pushbutton off (out).
(5) Horizontal POSITION (FINE) controls to midrange.
f. Connect TI to ac power source.
g. Set POWER switch to ON and allow at least 20 minutes for warm-up.
h. Adjust INTENSITY, FOCUS, and ASTIG controls for suitable display.
NOTE
Adjustments listed in parenthesis ( ) are for Tektronix, Type
466 serial numbers B200000 and up with options.
a. Performance Check
(1) Press VERT MODE CH 1 pushbutton and set CH 1 AC-GND-DC switch to
DC.
(2) Connect oscilloscope calibrator to TI CH 1 input.
(3) Set TI and oscilloscope calibrator to each setting in table 3 and at each setting
adjust the oscilloscope calibrator output in EDIT mode for 6 divisions of vertical display. If
oscilloscope calibrator readout does not indicate within 3%, perform b (1) below.
