(1) AC PHASE switch to 1.
(2) LOAD CONTROL fully ccw.
(3) AC AMP RANGE selector switch to 5.
(4) AC PHASE switch to 30.
(5) DC AMP RANGE selector switch to START.
(6) LOAD ON-OFF switch to ON (not on all models).
(7) LIVE CIRCUIT switch to OFF.
(8) DC PWR switch to OFF.
b. If required, adjust mechanical zero adjust screw of all TI meters (except
FREQUENCY) for zero indication. Adjust FREQUENCY meter for indication of 400 Hz
(390 Hz on some models).
8. AC AMPS Meter
a. Performance Check
(1) Remove front panel of TI and disconnect +28 V input (if necessary).
(2) Connect equipment as shown in figure 1.

(3) Set calibrator for a 1A, 400Hz output.
(4) Adjust calibrator output for 1 ampere indication on AC AMPS meter.
Calibrator output will be between 0.9 and 1.1 amps.
(6) Set calibrator output to minimum and move leads from calibrator output to
amplifier output.
(7) Repeat technique of (3) through (6) above for 3 and 5 amperes. Calibrator will
indicate between 2.9 and 3.1 and 4.9 and 5.1 amps respectively.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
