c. Connect power module to suitable ac source. Ensure OUTPUT HEAD ON/OFF
pushbutton is OFF. Set power module POWER switch to ON and allow at least 30
minutes for TI to warm-up.
a. Performance Check
(2) Press pushbuttons on TI as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) AMPL and enter 1 V on DATA keyboard.
(b) FREQUENCY VARIABLE and enter 10 Hz on DATA keyboard.
(c) OUTPUT HEAD ON/OFF (turn the output ON).
NOTE
Utilize frequency counter FILTER key as necessary for stable
readings below 1 KHz.
(3) The frequency counter will indicate between 9.9 and 10.1 Hz; if not, perform b below.
(4) Enter 4.9999 kHz on DATA keyboard. Frequency counter will indicate between
4.949901 and 5.049899 kHz; if not, perform b below.
(5) Repeat technique (4) above for the TI DATA entries (output frequencies) and
frequency counter indications listed in table 3.

connection to C input on frequency counter and set for FREQ C operation.
(6) Move connection to frequency counter A input and set for FREQ A operation.
Press the FREQUENCY REFERENCE pushbutton. The frequency counter will indicate
between 49.5 and 50.5 kHz; if not, perform b below.
(7) Press the TI OUTPUT HEAD ON/ OFF pushbutton (turn the output OFF) and
disconnect TI from frequency counter.
b. Adjustments
(1) Press the TI OUTPUT HEAD ON/ OFF (turn output OFF) and disconnect TI
from frequency counter.
(2) Set the power module POWER switch to OFF and remove TI from the power
module. Set DIP switch SW3020 (rear panel of TI) toggle number 3 to the closed position.
