(3) Adjust time base plug-in (A8) for a .5 microsecond sweep.

(5) Adjust time base plug for a .05 microsecond sweep.
(6) Measure rise time, using standard risetime technique.
Rise time will be 35
nanoseconds or less.
(7) Remove square-wave generator connection from TI CH1 and connect to CH2.
(8) Turn TI MODE switch to CH2 and repeat (6) above.
b. Adjustments. Adjust L361 and L371

type 3A1, or L384 and L394

for type 3A6, for optimum square-wave display (R).
14. Final Procedure
a.
Deenergize and
disconnect all
equipment and
replace oscilloscope covers.
b. In accordance with TM 38-750, annotate and affix DA Label 80 (US Army
Calibrated Instrument). When the TI receives limited or special calibration, annotate and
affix DA Label 163 (US Army Limited or Special Calibration). When the TI cannot be
adjusted within tolerance, annotate and affix DA Form 2417 (US Army Calibration System
Rejected Instrument).

met before continuing with the calibration.

(1) Position TI controls as listed in (a) through (g) below:
(a) CH1 and CH2 VOLTS/DIV switches to .01.
(b) CH1 and CH2 POSITION controls to midrange.
