(4) Press F1 for CHANGE VALUE and, using the up/down and left/right arrows, adjust
the TI temperature to read the same as on the thermometer.
(5) Press the ENTER key to accept the calibration. Press the EXIT key four times to

a. Performance Check
(1) Set the TI power switch to ON. During the TI power up sequence MAX
RATINGS is displayed. Record and use the FULL SCALE PRESSURE indication as the
TI's 100% value.
(2) Start the Compass for Pressure program. Download and install the database file
from USATA's web site following the instructions in Appendix A. If doing another model
(3) Allow the instrument's temperature to stabilize for a minimum of 1 hour.
(4) Connect the outlet port of the TI to Piston Gauge 1.
(5) Press the INPUT key and using the up/down and left/right arrows, select
PRESSURE INT, then ENTER.
(6) With zero pressure applied, press the ZERO button and zero the pressure
reading.
NOTE
All pressure readings are done in Ascending and Descending
order.
(7) Select Run, Run Test Definitions from the Compass menu. The TEST program
is 700 MBAR DPI610 AF/AL, and the DUT program is Druck DPI610 700 mbar.
(8) Let the program run. When it is finished, save the data.
(9) Compass will generate a test report and a chart displaying failed test points. If
any test points fail, perform b below.
(10)If As Found/As Left data is required and any adjustments are needed, run the
test again after adjustments have been made.
(11)If TI does not have capability beyond 55 psi, proceed to paragraph 12 below.
