(4) Set and hold S2 switch to RETRACT position. Voltmeter (AS) will indicate between 1.5 and 2.9 VAC p-p.
(5) Set S1 switch to OFF.
(6) Disconnect lead from J2 pin J and connect to J2 pin E.
(7) Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 above. Voltmeter (AS) will indicate more than 4 VAC p-p.
(8) Set S1 switch to OFF.
(9) Disconnect voltmeter (AS) and connect electronic counter (A4) to J2 pin A (ground) and J2 pin J.
(10) Set S1 switch to ON.
(11) Set and hold S2. switch to RETRACT position. Electronic counter (A4) should indicate between 10.2 and
13.8 Hz.
(12) Disconnect electrical lead from J2 pin J and connect to pin E. Repeat steps (10) and (11) above.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.

Phase Angle.
a. Performance Check.
(1) Connect the equipment as shown in figure 4-3.
(2) Set S1 switch on test instrument to ON.
(3) Set and, hold S2 switch to the EXTEND position. Wave shape on oscilloscope (A6) will indicate 900 out of
phase.
(4) Set S1 switch to OFF.
