1Repeat steps a (1) through (4) above for meter DC VOLTMETER (VX ONLY).
(5) Set calibrator output to minimum and disconnect from TI.
(6) Reconnect wires removed in step a (1) above.
b. Adjustments
(1) Remove bezel from front of meter.
(2) Set calibrator for an output of 20 V DC for TI DC VOLTMETER or 2 V DC for
(3) Adjust R1 on upper left side of display until display reads within limits specified
in appropriate row of table 4 above. (R).
(4) Set calibrator output to minimum.
(5) If further adjustments are necessary, refer to the section labeled Display Scaling
for the DC Voltmeter in the back of the TI manufacturer's manual.
10. Diagnostic Cable Resistance
a. Performance Check
NOTE
When performing this check with the 3458A multimeter, short
the input high and low test leads together. Place the 3458 in
MATH NULL mode before performing resistance checks below.
P14A pin F and P14B pin F. Multimeter will indicate less than 0.200 Ω.
(2) Connect TI cable LTCT30572-01 P3 to TI connector J3 TO AIRCRAFT RDPS.
indicated in table 5 below. Multimeter will indicate within tolerances listed in table 5 below.
