dh. Set TI waveform to sine and repeat step cw above. If adjustment is necessary,
repeat steps cx through dh; otherwise, continue from next step.
di. Set TI as outlined in (1) through (6) below:
(1) Waveform to sine.
(2) COMPL OUTPUT to off.
(3) DISABLE OUTPUT to off.
(4) FRQ to 3.00 kHz.
(5) AMP to 1 V.
(6) OFS to 0 V.
dj. Connect TI OUTPUT to spectrum analyzer input. Setup spectrum analyzer to display
fundamental, at 0 dB, and first two harmonics.
dk. Switch TI COMPL on and off and adjust A1R407 (fig. 1) until 2d harmonic is < -
45 dB in both modes. (R)
dl. Set TI as outlined in (1) through (3) below:
(1) FRQ to 50 MHz.
(2) AMP to 100 mV.
(3) OFS to 0 V.
dm. Setup spectrum analyzer to display fundamental, at 0 dB, and first two harmonics.
Switch TI COMPL on and off and check that 2d and 3rd harmonics are < -26 dB in both
modes.
dn. Set TI as outlined in (1) through (7) below:
(1) Waveform to sine.
(2) COMPL OUTPUT to off.
(3) DISABLE OUTPUT to off.
(4) FRQ to 1.00 kHz.
(5) DTY to 50%.
(6) AMP to 100 mV.
(7) OFS to 7.95 V.
do. Configure multimeter for DC voltage measurement with filter enabled.
dp. Connect TI OUTPUT to multimeter input. Adjust A2R43 (fig. 2) for
a
multimeter
indication of 7.95 V 30 mV. (R)
dq. Set TI OFS to -7.95 V. Check that multimeter indication is -7.95 V 30 mV.
dr. If an adjustment was made in step dp, repeat steps o through z above before
continuing.
ds. Connect function generator output to TI CTRL INPUT and connect TI OUTPUT to
spectrum analyzer input.
