ba. Set TI COMPL mode to on and re-adjust A1R221 (fig. 1) for minimum 2d harmonic
distortion. (R)
bb. Set TI COMPL mode to off.
bc. Repeat steps az through bb for best compromise between normal and complement
outputs.
bd. Connect TI OUTPUT to frequency counter A input and configure frequency counter
for frequency measurement.
be. Set TI FREQ to 42 MHz. Check frequency counter display is < 43.5 MHz.
bf. Connect TI OUTPUT to oscilloscope 1 input and connect TI TRIG OUTPUT to
oscilloscope 2 input.
bg. Set TI FREQ to 2 MHz.
amplitude.
bh. Check that TI remains within 20% of amplitude marked in bg. above throughout
frequency range 40 MHz to 50 MHz.
bi. Set TI waveform to square and FRQ to 50 MHz. Adjust A1R130 (fig. 1) for 50% duty
cycle. (Toggle TI COMPL on and off to obtain best compromise). (R)
bj. Set TI as outlined in (1) through (5) below:
(2) FRQ to 99.9 Hz.
(3) DTY to 50%.
(4) AMP to 1 V.
(5) OFS to 0 V.
bk. Connect TI TRIG OUTPUT to frequency counter A input. Adjust A2R18 (fig. 2) for
frequency counter indication of 99.9 Hz 0.1 Hz. (R)
bl. Set TI FRQ to 9.99 Hz and adjust A2R2 (fig. 2) for a frequency counter indication of
9.99 Hz 0.025 Hz. (R)
bm. Set frequency counter to measure duty cycle. Adjust A2R4 (fig. 2) for a frequency
counter indication of 50% 0.2%. (R)
bn. Repeat steps bl and bm for best compromise.
