NOTE
While performing the following steps, set TI NULL switch to
TVM and reduce calibrator output at the completion of each
check and before changing TI RANGE switch setting. Damage
to TI may occur.
(6) Set TI RANGE switch to 10 and voltage dials to 10.00000.
(7) Set calibrator for a 10.0 V output. Adjust TI voltage dials for null indication on
each successively more sensitive position of NULL switch until null indication is obtained
on the most sensitive position. Final TI indication will be between 9.99950 and 10.00050; if
not, perform b (l) and (2) below.
NOTE
The most sensitive positions of NULL switch are .0001, .001,
.01 and .1 for the 0 to 1, 0 to 10, 0 to 100, and 0 to 1000 V
ranges, respectively.
(8) Set TI NULL switch to TVM and calibrator to STANDBY.
(9) Repeat technique of (6) through (8) above for TI RANGE switch setting of 1 and
calibrator output of 1.0 V dc. Final TI indication will be between 0.999945 and 1.000055; if
not, perform b (3) and (4) below.
(10) Repeat technique of (6) through (8) above for TI RANGE switch setting of 100
and calibrator output of 100 V dc. Final TI indication will be between 99.9950 and
100.0050; if not, perform b (5) and (6) below.
(11) Repeat technique of (6) through (8) above for TI RANGE and calibrator outputs
listed in table 4 below. Final TI indication will be within the listed limits; if not, and no
adjustments were made in (7) through (10) above, repeat (7) through (10) above while
performing adjustments.
