a. Turn TI Rotary Switch to the Battery Check position and note that the batteries
have 90% or better charge. Replace if necessary.
CAUTION
DO NOT push the TI TEST button during the following
procedure or damage to the multimeter will result.
NOTE
The following Discharge Circuit Test is a safety related test
that verifies input jack wiring to the PCA, the RSOB contacts,
RSOB pads on the PCA, and other active components on the
PCA.
c. Set multimeter to measure ohms.
d. Turn the TI Rotary Switch to the 250V, 500V, 1000V and Lo Ω position. Check that
the multimeter reading for each position is between 1600 and 2600 Ω.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI V Ωand COM terminals to the Calibrator OUTPUT terminals,
observing polarity.
(2) Set the TI Rotary switch to DC/AC Volts position.
(3) Set the calibrator controls to the first applied value listed in table 3 below, and
set OPR/STBY switch to OPR.
(4) The TI display must indicate within the corresponding values listed in the
Calibrator
