If the reading of step (7) above cannot be brought within limit,
it may be that the source has excessive distortion.
d. Voltmeter Adjustment
(1) Press TI numerical key for 41.0 and then SPCL key to initialize TI.
(2) Key in 1.11 SPCL to set input range to 3.00 V.
(3) Key in 3.1 SPCL to set post-notch amplifier gain to 0 dB.
(4) Set AMPTD to 3 V.
(5) Key in 49.3 SPCL to read output rms detector voltage directly.
(6) Set TI INPUT and OUTPUT FLOAT switches to ground.
(7) Connect equipment as shown in connection A of figure 5 below.
(8) Set MULTIMETER to read Dc volts. Adjust A4R125 (DC CAL) for a reading on
right display of TI that is same as reading on MULTIMETER (within 0.5 mV).
(9) Connect MULTIMETER to HIGH INPUT of TI as shown in figure 5 connection B
below. Set MULTIMETER to read V ac. On TI, set MEASUREMENT mode to AC LEVEL.
(10) Adjust A4R91 (RMS SCALE) for a reading on TI right display that is same as
reading on MULTIMETER (within 1 mV).
