NOTE
capability, ignore (6) below and read the limits on the TI display.
(6) Edit the calibrator controls until the calibrator reading indication on the control
display indicates the TI reading. If calibrator Error indication is not within limits specified,
perform b below.
(7) Repeat technique of (3) through (6) above (ignore (5)) for remaining ranges and
applied values listed in Range and Applied columns. If TI indication is not within limits
specified, perform b below.
(8) If applicable, disconnect equipment setup.
b. Adjustments. Refer to TI manufacturer's manual for corrective action.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI FREQUENCY terminals to the function generator OUTPUT
terminal through a 50 Ω feed through termination, observing polarity.
(2) Set TI controls for the first range listed in the Range column.
(3) Set function generator for the first value listed in the Applied column. If TI
applied input level is not specified, adjust the function generator output for a stable TI
display. If TI indication is not within limits specified, perform b below.
(4) Repeat technique of (2) and (3) above for remaining ranges and applied values
listed in Range and Applied columns. If TI indication is not within limits specified, perform
b below.
(5) If applicable, disconnect equipment setup.
b. Adjustments. Refer to TI manufacturer's manual for corrective action.
16. Frequency (≤500 A ac)
a. Performance Check
(1) Select the appropriate coil or single conductor and connect it to the calibrator
OUTPUT terminals.
NOTE
For current ≥2.2 A, use the Amplifier CURRENT OUTPUT
terminals and set BOOST On, when required.
(2) Clamp TI around coil.
(3) Set TI controls for the first range listed in the Range column.
