NOTE
To calibrate the high voltage probe (TI) when not part of a set,
customer must supply a multimeter with input impedance of
10 M   10%.
NOTE
For  high  voltage  probes  (TI)  furnished  with  plug-in
multimeters (DM 501, DM 501A) start with 23 a below, all
others proceed to 23 c below.
a. Connect plug-in multimeter to power module and connect power module to a
115 V ac source.
b. Pull power module PWR switch to ON and allow at least 15 minutes for
stabilization.
c. Set multimeter to 2 V or 3 V dc range.
24. Dc Probe Check
a. Performance Check
and LOW (COM)
(1) Connect TI cable (terminals) to multimeter VOLTS/
connectors observing correct polarity.
(2) Connect TI ground-lead clip to calibrator OUTPUT LO and TI tip to calibrator
OUTPUT HI terminal.
(3) Set calibrator for 1000 V dc output. If multimeter does not indicate between
0.9600 and 1.0400 V, perform b below.
NOTE
There is no adjustment for Fluke, Model 80K-40 or Tektronix,
Type 010-0277-00.
b. Adjustments: 10800C (only).
(1) Set calibrator to STANDBY; then press RESET pushbutton.
(2) Remove 4 screws from cover of TI termination box and remove cover.
(3) Set calibrator for a 1000 V dc output. Adjust R1 in TI termination box for a
reading of 1.000 V dc on the multimeter (R).
(4) Set calibrator to STANDBY; then press RESET pushbutton.
(5) Replace cover and screws on termination box.
25. Final Procedure
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
