(5) Adjust function generator frequency for 100 kHz.

(6) Adjust oscilloscope horizontal TIME/DIV switch for a convenient viewing display.

(7) Adjust TI START/STOP PHASE control until function generator output cycle

begins at zero-degree phase on positive slope of calibrator waveform, as shown in figure 4.
