(13) Remove extender and reinstall TI in power module.
Pull module POWER
switch to ON.
AGC TEST
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI ∼ 600 OHM output to true rms voltmeter through a 600 Ω
feedthrough termination (Voltage Divider, Hewlett-Packard, Model 11047A (7911560)).
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a)
FREQUENCY Hz dial to 1.
(b)
MULTIPLIER X1K pushbutton pressed.
(c)
VAR ATTENUATOR/AMPLITUDE control fully cw.
(d)
STEP ATTEN pushbuttons released.
(3) If true rms voltmeter does not indicate at least 2.5 V rms, perform b below.
(4) Adjust VAR ATTENUATOR/AMPLITUDE control for a 1 V rms indication on
the true rms voltmeter.
(5) Using FREQUENCY Hz dial and MULTIPLIER pushbuttons vary frequency
from 50 Hz to 500 kHz. True rms voltmeter will indicate between 966 and 1035 mV rms.
