a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI ∼ 600 OHM output to the audio analyzer INPUT HIGH through a
600 Ω feedthrough termination (voltage divider, model 11047A). Position audio analyzer
controls to measure V rms.
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(b) MULTIPLIER X1K pushbutton pressed.
(c) VAR ATTENUATOR control adjusted for a 2 V rms indication on the audio analyzer.
(3) Press STEP ATTENUATOR 10 pushbutton.
Audio analyzer will indicate
between .618 and .645 V rms.
(4) Release STEP ATTEN 10 pushbutton and press STEP ATTEN 20 pushbutton.
Audio analyzer will indicate between .196 and .204 V rms.
(5) Release STEP ATTEN 20 pushbutton and press STEP ATTEN 40 pushbutton.
Audio analyzer will indicate between .0196 and .0204 V rms.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
12. Square Wave Amplitude,
Rise and Falltime
a. Performance Check
NOTE
will result.
(1) Connect TI
600 OHM output to the oscilloscope Vertical 1 input through a
600 Ω feedthrough termination (voltage divider, model 11047A).
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a)
FREQUENCY Hz dial to 1.
(b)
MULTIPLIER X1K pushbutton pressed.
(c)
VAR ATTENUATOR/AMPLITUDE control fully cw.
(d)
STEP ATTEN pushbuttons released.
(3) Measure square wave amplitude.
Square wave amplitude as indicated on
(4) Adjust FREQUENCY Hz dial to 5 and press MULTIPLIER X100K
pushbutton. Rise and falltime of displayed square wave will be 50 ns or less.
