(58) Adjust C53 CH2 MF/LF COMP (fig. 1) and R97 CH2 MF/LF GAIN BAL (fig. 1)
for the best square corner and flat top.
(59) Remove 50 : feedthrough termination and connect oscilloscope calibrator
CHAN 1 to TI CH 2.
(60) Set oscilloscope calibrator VOLTAGE output to 10 mV and 1 kHz.
(61) Position controls as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to 2m.
(b) A AND B SEC/DIV switches to .2 ms.
(c) CH 2 POSITION control to view waveform.
(62) Adjust R76 CH2 2-mV GAIN (fig. 1) for 5 divisions of vertical deflection on TI. (R)
(63) Set CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to 10m.
(65) Adjust R195 CH2 GAIN (fig. 2) for 5 divisions of vertical deflection on TI. (R)
(66) Connect oscilloscope calibrator CHAN 1 to TI CH 2 using a 5-80 pF standardizer.
(67) Set oscilloscope calibrator EDGE output to 1 kHz and amplitude for 5 divisions
of vertical defection on TI.
(68) Adjust 5-80 pF standardizer for optimum square wave.
(69) Set CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to .1.
(70) Replace 5-80 pF standardizer with 50 : feedthrough termination.
(71) Set oscilloscope calibrator amplitude for 5 divisions of vertical deflection on TI.
(72) Adjust C62 10X LF COMP (fig. 1) for best front corner.
(73) Replace the 50 : feedthrough termination with a 5-80 pF standardizer and
repeat (71) above.
(74) Adjust C61 10X INPUT C (fig. 1) for best flat top.
(75) Repeat (70) through (74) above until no further improvement is noted.
(76) Set CH 2 VOLTS/DIV switch to 1.
(77) Remove 5-80 pF standardizer and connect oscilloscope calibrator CHAN 1 to TI
CH 2. Repeat (71) above.
(78) Adjust C55 100X LF COMP (fig. 1) for best front corner.
(79) Connect oscilloscope calibrator CHAN 1 to TI CH 2 using a 5-80 pF standardizer
and repeat (71) above.
(80) Adjust C54 100X INPUT C (fig. 1) for best flat top.
(81) Repeat (77) through (80) above until no further improvement is noted.
(82) Continue calibration at paragraph 8 a (7) above.
