TB 9-6625-2241-24
IDENTIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION
1. Test Instrument Identification.
This bulletin provides instructions for the
calibration of Oscilloscope Tektronix, Types 464, 466, and 466 Options 4/7.
The
manufacturers' manuals were used as the prime data sources in compiling these
instructions. The equipment being calibrated will be referred to as the TI (test instrument)
throughout this bulletin.
a. Model Variations. Tektronix, Types 464 and 466 front panel controls for
bandwidth mode selection are labeled VERT MODE 20 MHz BW (pull) and the
pushbutton/switch is labeled TRIG VIEW PUSH. For Tektronix, Type 466 with options
serial numbers B200000 and up, the front panel control for bandwidth mode selection is
labeled VERT MODE 20 MHz and the pushbutton/switch is labeled BW LIMIT. Both
controls are identified as VERT MODE BW control in the text. Tektronix, Type 464 and
466 front panel controls for horizontal display selection are labeled HORIZ DISPLAY and
the pushbutton/switch is labeled A. For Tektronix, Type 466 with options serial numbers
B200000 and up, the front panel control for horizontal display selection is labeled HORIZ
DISPLAY and the pushbutton/ switch is labeled A LOCKS KNOBS. Both controls are
identified as HORIZ DISPLAY A in the text.
b. Time and Technique. The time required for this calibration is approximately 4
hours, using the dc and low frequency technique.
2. Forms, Records, and Reports
a. Forms, records, and reports required for calibration personnel at all levels are
prescribed by TB 750-25.
b. Adjustments to be reported are designated (R) at the end of the sentence in which
they appear. When adjustments are in tables the (R) follows the designated adjustment.
Report only those adjustments made and designated with (R).
3. Calibration Description. TI parameters and performance specifications which
pertain to this calibration are listed in table 1.
