10. Kit Simulator Test
a. Performance Check
(1) Press STBY key on TI TRANSPONDER CONTROL keyboard and press
CODE SEL key on MODE 4 keyboard to light A indicator (B indicator must be off).
NOTE
Ensure all switches on calibration test fixture are in OFF position.
(2) Connect equipment as shown in figure 2.

(3) Position frequency counter controls as listed in (a) through (g) below:
(a)
Press MENU, press <FUNCTION> to select TIME A B. Press MENU.
(b) Press TIME, press <FUNCTION> for a gate time of 10mS. Press ENTER.
(c) INPUT A and B.
(d) 50 Ω/1 MΩ to 1 MΩ, TRIGGER LEVEL AUTO deselected, 1X / 10X to 10X.
(e)

(f) AC/DC to DC.
(g) INPUT B COM A deselected.
