(4) Set the synthesized signal generator RF output to off.
(5) Without disturbing the synthesized signal generator controls, disconnect the
power sensor from the synthesized signal generator.
(6) Set the power meter for measurement on the 30.0 dBm (1 W) range, or auto
range as applicable.
(7) Connect the termination to the TI uncoupled output connector.
(8) Connect the TI input connector to the synthesized signal generator RF output
connector, and then connect the power sensor input to the TI sampling connector.
(9) Set the synthesized signal generator RF output to on.
(10)Adjust the TI sampling port to the fully inserted position (fully CW).
(11)Verify that the power meter indication is between 32.0 and 38.0 dBm (or
between 0.16 and 0.63 W).
(12)Adjust the TI sampling port to the fully extended position (fully CCW).
(13)Set the power meter for measurement on the 45.0 dBm (30 nW) range, or for
auto ranging, as applicable.
(14)Verify that the power meter indication is between 47.0 and 53.0 dBm (or
between 5 and 20 nW).
(15)Set the synthesized signal generator RF output to off and disconnect the
equipment from the TI.
(16)Connect the power sensor input to the synthesized signal generator RF output
connector.
(17)Set the synthesized signal generator controls for a 300 MHz CW output,
amplitude to +9 dBm, and RF output to on.
(18)Adjust the synthesized signal generator amplitude controls for an exact
+10.0 dBm (10.0 mW) indication on the power meter.
(19)Set the synthesized signal generator RF output to off.
(20)Without disturbing the synthesized signal generator controls, disconnect the
power sensor from the synthesized signal generator.
(21)Set the power meter for measurement on the 20.0 dBm (10 W) range, or for
auto ranging, as applicable.
(22)Connect the termination to the TI uncoupled output connector.
(23)Connect the TI input connector to the synthesized signal generator RF output
connector, and then connect the power sensor input to the TI sampling connector.
(24)Set the synthesized signal generator RF output to on.
(25)Adjust the TI sampling port to the fully inserted position (fully CW).
(26)Verify that the power meter indication is between 22.0 and 28.0 dBm (or
between 1.58 and 6.31 W).
(27)Adjust the TI sampling port to the fully extended position (fully CCW).
