7. Equipment Setup
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
this calibration.
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S) to minimum after each step within the
performance check where applicable.
a. Set all power switches to on and allow sufficient time for equipment to warm-up and
stabilize.
b. Ensure latest version of PiMAT software is available.
8. VSWR Using PiMAT Software
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 1.

(2) Open PiMAT software.
(3) On the first screen, Step 1, click Software requirements. Follow instructions
to ensure the files listed are on the C: drive on the Measuring Receiver. Press the Return
To Front Page button.
(4) When using the E4419B power meter and LAN/GPIB Gateway E5810B, select
the With gateway option.
(5) On the next screen, Type of TI, select Mismatch Device.
