e. Set the autotransformer to 115 volts and set the TI line switch to on and allow 30
minutes to warm-up and stabilize.
8. Front Panel Control Calibration
a. Performance Check
CAUTION
Do not exceed 5 amps out of the power supply; it will damage
the decade resistor.
(1) Remove one lead from the decade resistor. Use the front panel controls, program
voltage output for rated full scale value (see table 1). Adjust the current output as required
to obtain full scale voltage output.
(3) Using TI front panel controls, program voltage output for 0 V and three
additional points about 25, 50, and 75% of full scale. (If TI output cannot be set to 25, 50,
and 75% of full scale, set to 90% of full scale.) Repeat step (2) for each programmed voltage.
(4) Refer to table 1 range/accuracy (Programming Accuracy) specification and
calculate the limits for each programmed voltage in step (3) above.
(5) The values recorded must be within the corresponding values calculated in step
(4) above.
(6) Refer to table 1 range/accuracy Readback (Meter) accuracy specification and
calculate the limits for each programmed voltage in steps (1) and (3) above.
